Getting a website built in Karlsruhe: process, timing and what drives the price
Want a website built in Karlsruhe? How a project runs, how long it takes, which factors drive the price and what to look out for.
Anyone running a café, practice, trade business or shop in Karlsruhe gets searched online first: on Google, Google Maps, Instagram. A good website isn't a brochure, it's a tool that brings in enquiries. Here's how a project with me works and what to know beforehand.
The process in four steps
- 01
Intro call
30 minutes, free, in person in Karlsruhe or by video. Goal, audience, scope.
- 02
Fixed-price quote
In writing, with a clear scope. No open-ended hourly billing.
- 03
Building with check-ins
Every week you see the current state in the browser and give feedback.
- 04
Launch and care
Domain, imprint, privacy policy, Google basics. I stay reachable afterwards.
How long does it take?
A classic business website with a few pages is usually live in one to three weeks. Shops, booking or ordering systems take several weeks depending on features. The biggest time factor is often content: texts, photos, opening hours. If those are ready early, things move fast.
What drives the price
- Number and type of pages (one or ten, plain text or galleries)
- Languages: each extra language means translation and upkeep
- Features: contact form, booking, online shop, ordering system, customer accounts
- Whether you want to edit content yourself (admin panel or CMS)
- Design: fully custom or based on a proven system
- Care after launch: hosting, updates, backups
That's why serious providers only quote after a conversation. What matters is that the price is fixed and in writing, so there are no surprises at the end.
How to spot a good provider
- Real, clickable references instead of just mockups
- One point of contact who also understands the tech
- Imprint and privacy policy included as standard
- Code, content and domain end up belonging to you
- The site loads fast and works flawlessly on phones
Getting found locally
For customers in Karlsruhe, Durlach, Ettlingen or Bruchsal to find you, a nice page isn't enough: clean titles and descriptions, address and opening hours as structured data, a maintained Google Business Profile and real reviews. I set these up with you at launch.
